Troubleshooting
On WM Recorder main screen click MODE to open the “Recording modes” dialog.
If
Make sure you have Internet connection when setting
checks if the web browser traffic can be monitored. This test fails if no
connection is available.
To check your Internet connection and find out whether or not WM
Recorder programs are blocked by your
Internet security software click the button “Check Connection”.
POSSIBLE ISSUES
1.1
Reinstall the
adapter monitor WinPcap. Click the “Install” button under WinPcap.

Restart WM
Recorder.
If
the problem persists and you are running Windows 7 or

Open WM Recorder
installation folder then open the subfolder WPcap.

Right click the
file WP_4_0_2.exe then
click “Run as administrator”.

Uncheck the
button “Match IP”.

Restart WM
Recorder.

If the problem
persists try to manually choose the adapter.

Click the adapter
names in the
“Adapter description” list one by one.

Recorder
Click
WMX to use the WMX recording mode. This mode provides stream capture.
If
you are recording Windows Media files click PRO mode. No other video formats
can be recorded in PRO mode.
If
you know the stream URL(s) and you are interesting in playing or scheduling
recordings click the URL mode.

Open WM Recorder
installation folder.

Run the test file
ADA.exe.

Copy/paste the
text from ADA.exe window and email to customer support
